John A. Williams III, MD, FACC, FACP, FSCAI

     Dr. Williams founded The Heart Center of Eastern Carolina in 1994. Since that time he has also been the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Program at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern. He has a long and distinguished record of care including an assignment to The White House Medical Unit where he was cardiovascular consultant to President George H.W. Bush. Dr. Williams is skilled in all areas of cardiology but is particularly interested in the areas of coronary artery and peripheral vascular disease, complex vascular interventions and valvular heart disease. Dr. Williams and his wife Judi have two daughters.
