First and foremost, health care will be provided to every patient who seeks services from The Heart Center of Eastern Carolina, regardless of their ability to pay. Financial counseling and a sliding fee schedule are available to assist those who require financial aid.

     The Heart Center of Eastern Carolina accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and most kinds of private insurance. Please make sure you notify our offices if there is a change in your insurance coverage. As a service to our patients, The Heart Center will file claims for service directly with your insurance provider at no charge.

     Patients are ultimately responsible for any charges for care they incur. If a co-payment is required by your insurer, it will be expected at the time of the office visit. Any deductibles or balances after insurance payments are the responsibility of the patient and should be settled in a timely manner. For your convenience, The Heart Center accepts cash, personal checks and most major credit cards.
